A delicate skylark amongst the grasses and wild plants of a summer meadow, created using a traditional two-block linocut technique and printed in two complementary colours.
The design is hand-carved into two separate lino blocks, with each block carefully inked and printed in layers to build up the finished image. The result is a beautifully tactile print with a gentle sense of depth, movement and colour.
