A generous bunch of red poppies fills a blue vase, their delicate, papery petals nodding and opening in every direction. The cool green of the vase sets off the warm red blooms, giving this still life a fresh, cheerful feel.
Poppies are fleeting, and their crinkled petals last only a short time, which is part of their charm. This print captures them at their best. Every shape was carved by hand and printed with care, bringing out the layered petals, curving stems and the texture of the linocut itself.
It's a lovely print for flower lovers and anyone who wants a burst of colour in their home.
