Dahlias in Bloom: Linocut Print
A bold bunch of glowing orange dahlias fills an antique vase in deep blue, its decoration inspired by traditional Delft pottery. The rich blue patterning of the vase sets off the warm, fiery petals, and the contrast of the two colours makes this a striking still life.
Delft ware has been loved for centuries for its intricate blue-and-white designs, and dahlias are the showpiece of the late summer garden. Together they make a joyful, timeless subject. Every shape was carved by hand and printed with care, bringing out the layered petals, the painted patterns and the texture that only a linocut can give.
It's a lovely print for flower lovers, collectors of pottery and anyone who enjoys a splash of colour in their home.
